FAQ
- Are your Used CDs guaranteed?
Yes! We guarantee each Used CD that we sell to be free from defect for 7 days after you receive it. We have been selling Used CDs now for seven years out of our store and have had only a small handful of defective discs.
- Have you tested them?
No. The volume of Used CDs that we get precludes testing them. We visually inspect each one to make sure that it is free from any major scratches or blemishes.
- Can I get a virus from a Used CD?
No. CDs can not be written to after they leave the manufacturer, so it is impossible for a previous owner to put a virus onto a CD.
- Do I get the box and manual with my CD?
That depends. If we get the box and manual when we buy
it, then you get the box and manual when we sell it. If a game requires a manual (i.e. flight sims) we rarely buy it or sell it without one.
- Can I register my CD? What about serial
numbers?
That depends, but as a rule we say no. Most of what we sell are games and as a rule registering a game has no major advantages. If a registration card is included, then you may register it. Most games do not use serial numbers, so they are not identifiable as belonging to one person. We do not sell used games that require a serial number (i.e. Ultima Online) We sometimes sell applications as well. In these cases serial numbers are almost always necessary. We will always provide you with a working serial number, but in almost all cases you can assume that the product has already been registered.
- Where do you get your Used CDs?
We buy them from people just like you. If you would be interested in
